|Recommended: YesGreat Place To Live — These are brand new, very nicely appointed, modern apartments. The kitchens are awesome The staff are friendly. My only complaint would be the pool could use a cooling system for summer as it is too warm to enjoy right now.
|Recommended: YesMaintenance Response — We had an issue with our air conditioner going out in the middle of the night. Went by the office at 8 00 am, but it wasn't opened yet. I happened to see Alex, the maintenance technician, working around the pool area. He dropped what he was doing and came up right away. He fixed the problem within 5 minutes and also changed the filter. Also, on his way out, he noticed the garbage pickup did not take our garbage bag the night before because it ripped when they tried to remove it from the container. He disposed of the bags for us Alex deserves to be recognized for his excellent service always professional and friendly. Thank you, Alex. Paul and Janet

|Recommended: YesLiving Well At Tallgrass Village — Its very nice living here. Many pluses, but I must bring attention to the Recycle and Trash Compactor Bins. Not large enough to keep up with the demand. At least each time on weekends, I tried to place recycle materials in the Recycle bin it was overflowing. Unable to leave it there. And when I carry a bag of trash or two to the Trash Compactor Bin it is overflowing too. So I am unable to drop off my bagged trash at that time. So I am sure it has been brought up before. But it can be frustrating to go to the trouble of trying to recycle and not able to, due to the overloaded status of the recycle bin. There must be a better way to provide residents with a good way to dispose of things properly. I have used the normal garbage pick up on Sun-Thurs nights leaving all of our bags and it seems like they are meeting the same challenges at the Bins. Hopefully a good resolve will occur soon. Maybe more bins and trash compactor can be made available. We do like residing here. Thank you for all that Tallgrass does for the residents.

|Recommended: YesPretty Good — I like the ability of having my garage close to my apartment. The work out area is nice. The convince of the all the shops is a very big plus, no real reason to leave this small area. All the windows are very nice I love not feeling like i am in a closed in space.

I gave the construction a 4 star rating mainly because the utility room is too small for a very common front loading washer and dryer. With a slight change in the design our machines would have fit perfectly. As it is, our doors won't close all the way. In my opinion, there should be something in the welcome kit explaining this so the resident could make a better choice when buying a new washer and dryer.
